Looking for ways to go beyond using Google Keep as an electronic post-it system? You’ve come to the right place! Below I’ve outlined 50 ways in which small business owners can maximise their use of Google Keep.
Last night I got a very detailed text message from a client with some requests for me to action. Rather than writing out the requests separately into Google Keep, I took a screenshot of the text message and added it as an image to Google Keep.
Thanks to Google Keep’s image searching capability, even though it is an image I’ll be able to find it later simply by searching on any words in the screenshot.
This tip works for any screenshot – it doesn’t have to be a to-do item; you might want to save a screenshot to share later on through social media or mark up before sending to a client or business colleague.
How to do this:
- Take the screenshot
- Open the Google Keep app and tap on the camera icon
- Tap on Choose image. Choose the screenshot from your photo gallery.
The image will be added to a Google Keep note, where you can now add a title, text, labels, reminders, colours etc.
- Close the note by tapping on the back arrow in the top left of the screen.
